Spartan race!!
Best time ever. always on my to do list and im proud to say I did!
Most invigorating thing ever. Feel like I can achieve and do whatever.
Running or any workout for me is a high.
TIRED? STRESSED? ANXIOUS? SAD? UPSET ?ANGRY? OVERALL: A BAD DAY!?
WORKOUT!!!
Setiously it is a total body experience. This is something I hadve a true passion for.
I love pushing my body and seeing what limits I have. BUT, I respect my body.
It is about achieving your best and doing better than you think you can do. Your mind controls everything!! even when you do not realize it. But fitness changes your mind and that is something so hard to do.
Get out there and be you. Fell free happy and good for yourself and for the better of the world.
Be one with yourself

Sometimes all you need is strength!

Got my jump-rope and a room fall of exercise equipment... perfection at its finest!

Some days between school and family I feel lost but then I hit the gym and realize how powerful and in control of my life I really am!
Ran a mile did some abs, pylos, and jumping roping today at the gym!
Train hard and be the best version of you.
The stronger you get the more hardships in life you can endure!!

Fuel for the fit: Savoring summer with a hint of fall!

With my last week of summer before my second year of college I decided to savor summer and add a touch of fall into my healthy lunch for my fit lifestyle.
After hitting the gym and enjoying my favorite cup of black coffee I had a nice SumFall Salad ;)
 
Lunch for the day:
Slice of watermelon
Organic green leaf lettuce
Apple cider Vinegar
a Dash or two of Cinnamon!

probably only 60 calories! Enjoy.

MMA/KICKBOXING WORKOUT

WARMUP: 2 min jump rope or shadow jump rope
strength: 10 pushups
25 squats
25 situps

25 jumping jacks
1 min jump rope

shadow box! jab(left hand) and cros (right hand) 10 times!
                     hooks(left and right) 10 times [on each side]
                     uppercuts 10 times

pump kicks(to the side) 25 each leg!

sumo squate hold as low as you can 30 secs!

20 jumping jacks
10 situps with criss -cross punch in the air when sit up
5 knuckle push ups

BAM.

Sometimes Strength is all you need.

Now matter what happens sometimes life seems to get harder and harder, so your only choice? get STRONGER AND STRONGER

Sometimes it seems that God or who ever you believe in just isn't on your side. People and things may go against you and not go right. Something's we can change and other things just happen without our control. It is OK. TIS IS LIFE. We can only train OURSELVES to be strong to overcome these let downs. We need to get tougher and tougher to not let these things get us down or in the way of our future success. We must change our attitude about these events and try to look at the positives.

haters to motivators. YOU chose.

Let haters push you

There are people in our lives that may criticize, judge, and put us down. Whether it be due to being healthy and fit or non-healthy and lazy. These people are not merely "haters" but they are our motivators. Use their "rude" comments and motivation and encouragement to better yourself. I get criticized for leading a healthy lifestyle with good food choices and intense workout routines. My parents and even sisters say "you work out too much" or "why are you going to MMA again this week?" Well, let me tell you "because I F****** LOVE IT and I get to get away from you cray people!" Honestly working out is my stress reliever and I am sure it is yours too(even though you may not think or realize it). Even if you go to the gym or workout outside for 20-30 min it will do your mind, body, and spirit wonders! Sweat makes you feel good and look good in the long run. These so called "haters" encourage me more and more to excel or succeed in something bigger. They push me to do something greater each day. I find myself stronger than the day before. Working out and leading a healthy life makes me feel like I am part of something great. I do it for myself and to inspire people to never give up. Working out is a way for me to bring up my spirits and to make me realize how strong and how capable I am of many things.

 If you are the opposite and are criticized for being "lazy" with exercise or not living healthy, use these haters as coaches to become stronger. Turn your life around and live healthy. Show them up! Get up and start a workout or fitness routine and become stronger and leaner than them! It is not just to be better than them it is to be better than YOU. Be the best you can possibly be.
Get up and train! Give your body something to excel in and look forward too!

Hawk Mountain: Climbed with my two best friends for 4 hours
Not an actual "cliffhanger" climb but it was a hike and let me tell you there were boulders! (and snakes)

It was a true obstacle but once we got to the top we felt awesome! We all pushed each other throughout the climb. We freaked out when we saw snakes under all the boulders but we pushed each other and went fast. It was a team effort and were so glad we accomplished it! I have always said "I wanna climb a mountain." Well, I meant like Mount Fuji. But this mountain was still a mountain and a challenge! It just shows that this can be one step closer to achieving something bigger!
The top made me realize how much beauty there is in the world and how strong I actually am. I knew I ahd endurance(being able to run 2 hours a day) but hiking a mountain for four hours on a summer day? Who knew! It was the best, most refreshing feeling ever.
Never underestimate your greatness or happiness! Take both qualities up a notch each day!

When you feel down or have thers on your back (let's say for being fit and working out a lot..Cough Cough my family to me) step out of the situation into a brighter light and do something you enjoy!.... That doesn't mean stuff your face with ice cream.
Step out and go for a walk or do that thing on your to-do list...something that makes YOU happy or feel accomplished.
When people get onmy case I usually just go to my second home... the gym. Honestly, when I'm mad or sad those are the best days at th gym! especially for running! In this picture I ran my fastest mile 7:10!! And let me tell you before that it was not a good day... a lot on my mind. But after I felt refreshed and all those bad thoughts went away. I had a new perspective of all those previous problems/thoughts.
the deal is: Don't stop others from getting in the way of your happiness.
Do what you enjoy EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Even if it last one minute. DO IT and ENJOY IT!

HEALth
 What does health mean to you?
Does health mean being skinny? Or does it mean not having to go to thw doctors all the time? Does it mean being disease free?

All of these questions deal with health. Most people think of a healthy person as skinny. No. It means being within a normal body range for your gender,height, and age. It means being comfortable in your own skin. It means not feeding your body too much than it needs(especially with chemicals like GMOs and food additives) and not starving your body! Your body needs fuel in order to run and do the things you want to do and love. If you love your body good nutrition from your diet you are enhancing your ability to do those things you love like hiking,biking,swimming, walking your dog or anything!! When you eat the right foods you are are getting energy. But that doesn't mean stuffing your face with erything and anything because you ran!! Exercise is a way to reward yourself by letting out stress since it makes you feel good. You are showing off your abilities and giving yourself something to be proud of. If you enjoy working out you are healing yourself from whatever life throws at you bHealthy is rewarding your body in a positive way for all the things and torture you have put it through. Healthy means HEALing yourself physically and mentally.
