Hawk Mountain: Climbed with my two best friends for 4 hours
Not an actual "cliffhanger" climb but it was a hike and let me tell you there were boulders! (and snakes)
It was a true obstacle but once we got to the top we felt awesome! We all pushed each other throughout the climb. We freaked out when we saw snakes under all the boulders but we pushed each other and went fast. It was a team effort and were so glad we accomplished it! I have always said "I wanna climb a mountain." Well, I meant like Mount Fuji. But this mountain was still a mountain and a challenge! It just shows that this can be one step closer to achieving something bigger!
The top made me realize how much beauty there is in the world and how strong I actually am. I knew I ahd endurance(being able to run 2 hours a day) but hiking a mountain for four hours on a summer day? Who knew! It was the best, most refreshing feeling ever.
Never underestimate your greatness or happiness! Take both qualities up a notch each day!

Run the day don't let the day run you

When you feel down or have thers on your back (let's say for being fit and working out a lot..Cough Cough my family to me) step out of the situation into a brighter light and do something you enjoy!.... That doesn't mean stuff your face with ice cream.
Step out and go for a walk or do that thing on your to-do list...something that makes YOU happy or feel accomplished.
When people get onmy case I usually just go to my second home... the gym. Honestly, when I'm mad or sad those are the best days at th gym! especially for running! In this picture I ran my fastest mile 7:10!! And let me tell you before that it was not a good day... a lot on my mind. But after I felt refreshed and all those bad thoughts went away. I had a new perspective of all those previous problems/thoughts.
the deal is: Don't stop others from getting in the way of your happiness.
Do what you enjoy EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Even if it last one minute. DO IT and ENJOY IT!

HEALth
What does health mean to you?
Does health mean being skinny? Or does it mean not having to go to thw doctors all the time? Does it mean being disease free?
All of these questions deal with health. Most people think of a healthy person as skinny. No. It means being within a normal body range for your gender,height, and age. It means being comfortable in your own skin. It means not feeding your body too much than it needs(especially with chemicals like GMOs and food additives) and not starving your body! Your body needs fuel in order to run and do the things you want to do and love. If you love your body good nutrition from your diet you are enhancing your ability to do those things you love like hiking,biking,swimming, walking your dog or anything!! When you eat the right foods you are are getting energy. But that doesn't mean stuffing your face with erything and anything because you ran!! Exercise is a way to reward yourself by letting out stress since it makes you feel good. You are showing off your abilities and giving yourself something to be proud of. If you enjoy working out you are healing yourself from whatever life throws at you bHealthy is rewarding your body in a positive way for all the things and torture you have put it through. Healthy means HEALing yourself physically and mentally.
